Performance wheels

These wheels look great and I could not wait to take them for a spin. To test them out I got up early in the morning and went for a 32km ride that I do regularly in the bayside suburbs. This was a good trial as it was a very windy morning with gusts of over 50km/h. I was wondering how these would perform with crosswinds and to my amazement, they were excellent. They actually handled the gusty crosswinds much better than my Mavic Carbone’s and strangely the 22mm Gavia front wheel that has been on my bike until I threw the A42’s on. I also kept to my usual time and the slightly heavier wheels made no real difference, the wind was a far greater factor this day, and I thought I may have been a few minutes slower, but I was not that far off my usual time. Got to love aero wheels. I am a big guy of 6’3 and weigh 85kg, I have trashed quite a few rear wheels, including the Carbone SL rear that I recently had to bin. These wheels don’t even make a sound or creek under load which fills me full of confidence when I am powering up a 9% or higher grade. I mainly brought these wheels for training and fitness and so far after 300km, I have not been disappointed. All up I am very happy with the purchase and am looking forward to many thousands of K’s on these. I am glad I made the choice for the Bracciano’s. I look forward to what you guys have in store in the near future with your new endeavours. Labor no longer

I labored over the decision to purchase a new set of rims. I thought I wanted lighter, but I wanted faster. Deon was amazing and patient delving into my needs in a new set of rims. At 100kg and commuting everyday I was willing to spend what was required. Deon kept pulling me back to the A42. I drop down gutters, bunny hop speed humps on my commute and they are strong and true. Oh, did I mention I'm smashing all my previous times with no extra effort....three months on, no placebo effect here. Labor no longer, just buy!!Nathan Putnam (Nov 11 2014, 19:20 pm)

Fantastic Wheels

First of all great service and delivery. Ordered 3pm had them at 8.05 am the next day. First ride absolutely smashed my segment I've done over 30 times by 4kph. These wheels are strong stiff and true. As others have mentioned in cross winds these hold up really good and are not an issue. Best wheels on market for price. Fantastic Wheels

I have had my set around 12 months now and I love them. They roll for ever and they look great as well but they are also super tough. Despite having 100kg rider on them and have a hit some massive QLD potholes they have stayed true.
